Coronation Street’s Samia Longchambon has wowed fans as she shared some stunning snaps on holiday. The 43-year-old actress is best known for playing Maria Connor (Windass) and first appeared on the cobbles 26 years ago. Since her first appearance on the soap in 2000, Samia has been a regular on our screens and a fan favourite character.

She remains as key to the soap as ever, often involved in some of the biggest storylines over the last two decades. Away from the cameras, Samia’s life is far less dramatic and she lives with her husband Sylvain Longchambon.

The couple met on Dancing on Ice in 2013 and tied the knot three years later. They share a son named Yves Joseph, who was born in 2015. The actress regularly updates fans of her life away from the cobbles to her 464,000 followers on Instagram.

In a recent post, she shared some gorgeous snaps as she posed for a photo on a beach in Dubai. Samia looked stunning in a black bikini with the sun shining down on the ocean behind her.

Fans rushed to the comments to compliment the star on the gorgeous selection of photos. Her Coronation Street co-star Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster, said: “Beautiful”.

Former Corrie actress Helen Flanagan also added a heart eyes emoji.

One follower called Sheila said: “You look lovely ~ have a great holiday xx” and another named Joanne added: “Absolutely stunning.”

Kim wrote: “Beautiful photo of you”.

The post was liked by hundreds of fans, including more of her Coronation Street co-stars including Lucy Fallon (Bethany Platt), Tina O’Brien (Sarah Platt), Olivia Frances Brown (Jodie Ramsay), Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs) and former Corrie star Daniel Brocklebank (Billy Mayhew).

It’s been a busy time on the cobbles in recent weeks as the soap has announced a shocking new storyline.

In a dramatic flashforward which aired on Monday, viewers watched Betsy Swain interviewed by the police after finding a dead body of someone she knows.

Megan Walsh, Theo Silverton, Maggie Driscoll, Jodie Ramsey and Carl Webster were unveiled as each potentially having reason to be brutally killed.

Dressed in wedding clothes, Betsy explained she had been at her mum’s wedding to Carla Connor, but was heading into town when she made the shocking discovery.

As the episode returned to the present day, viewers looked closely at the behaviour of each and every character, and how it could lead to one shocking death in two months time.

Fans will have to wait and see whose time on the street will come to a dramatic end.
