Thirteen years ago, Arthur came into our lives and changed everything. From the very beginning, he brought with him a gentle spirit, a curious mind, and a warmth that fills every room he walks into. We still smile when we retell the story of his arrival — a moment that has become part of our family history and one that Arthur still enjoys hearing today.
As the years have passed, Arthur has grown into a smart, funny, kind, and thoughtful young person. From his early childhood days to this new chapter of becoming a teenager, each phase has been just as special as the last. Every laugh, every question, and every shared experience has helped shape the person he is today.
This year’s celebration carried extra meaning. Returning to East London, where so many early memories were made, allowed us to reconnect with friends and reflect on how far we have come as a family. It was a chance not only to celebrate Arthur, but also to honour the journey — the places, the people, and the moments that have stayed with us.
Of course, some things never change. Arthur’s personality shines through just as brightly as ever, and even his well-known leopard-print era has earned its place in our family story — a small but joyful reminder that growing up is also about self-expression and confidence.
Today, we celebrate more than a milestone. We celebrate Arthur — his heart, his humour, and the wonderful person he continues to become. We are endlessly grateful for him and excited for everything that lies ahead.
