Steven Gerrard’s daughter Lilly has shared some adorable photos of her baby girl. The daughter of the Liverpool FC legend gave birth to her first child last year and regularly updates her followers on social media with what she gets up to day-to-day as a new mum.
Lilly shared the incredible news she had welcomed her first child into the world when she posted a snap of her partner, Lee Byrne, as he carried their new baby out of the hospital. The 21-year-old has kept her followers updated after giving birth right from the very moment she arrived home with her newborn.
In a recent Instagram story, she posted an adorable photo of baby Lila Grey sat up by herself and smiling at the camera.
The heartwarming photo was followed by a video of her younger sister Lexie playing with her niece with Olivia Dean’s hit song “So Easy (To Fall In Love)” playing in the background.
Lilly recently shared a photo of Lila Grey’s first Christmas with her 228,000 followers.
Sharing a picture to Instagram of Lila in front of a Christmas tree, Lilly said: “Lila’s first Christmas”, alongside a red heart emoji and a Christmas tree emoji.
Gerrard reposted the picture of his daughter and granddaughter to his own social media accounts, before sharing a picture with his son Lio as they sat on a sofa and relaxed together.
Lilly has stayed with the family tradition of using “L” names. The Premier League icon and and his wife, Alex, gave all their four children names beginning with L. In addition to Lilly, they are the proud parents of Lexie, Lourdes and Lio.
Lilly has been dating boyfriend Lee for more than two years, since they went public with their romance in a series of snaps posted from their time in Ibiza.
A Christmas present from Liverpool FC to Gerrard last year was a baby-sized Liverpool kit with “Grandad” written across the back with the number 8. The club has been generous to the family since they welcomed another member into the family.
When Lila arrived, the club sent a message to the Gerrard household. It said: “Dear Steven and family, congratulations on the arrival of baby Lila Grey. With love and best wishes from all at Liverpool Football Club xx.”
Inside the wrapped gift were plenty of baby products, including a huge white teddy bear, grey slipper socks, white roses, and a heart plaque that read “Dream Big Little One”.
