Dianne Buswell has shared a series of snaps to instagram giving fans an update on the week leading up to the birth of her son. The Strictly Come Dancing star welcomed her first child last week, March 16 with Youtuber partener Joe Sugg. Joe revealed the news on an Instagram post sharing a snap of their newborn wearing a blue knitted hat, as well as a photo of Dianne cradling their new bundle of joy.
The couple announced the adorable name of their son, Bowden Mark Richard Sugg with Dianne previously describing the days after her birth as ‘magical’. She has since taken to social media to share her appreciation for Joe, who she met on Strictly in 2018 when the two were paired up in the show, later confirming their romance shortly after the final aired.
The couple announced the news they were expecting their first baby back in September last year. They have been keeping their followers updated throughout their journey.
Dianne took to Instagram to share a series of 15 photos showing followers a week in the life update including her last selfies ‘with bump’ and ‘the reality of night feeds’. The Australian-born dancer then issued a heartfelt message to Joe, who is well-known among younger viewers for being the younger brother of YouTuber Zoella (Zoe Sugg).
Dianne wrote: “Massive thank you to my Joey who has been looking after us so so well couldn’t of done all this without you” accompanied by four blue hearts. The 36-year-old also shared adorable photos of Joe cradling their son.
Joe is also best known for his vlog style videos which he started back in 2012. He went on to gain over 7 million social media followers. After meeting Dianne, the pair would be frequently seen posting vlogs together as Joe documented his journey on the show.
The pair would react to their dance from the previous Saturday night, giving their opinion on how it went and how they could improve ahead of another performance on Saturday night, proving to be popular among Joe’s fans, with everything from his first Strictly spray tan to shocking unseen footage from the training room.
The Strictly Come Dancing runners-up, who now live together in Brighton were met with a flood of comments from fellow co-stars including Amy Dowden, who shared her support writing: “You know how I feel love you all!”
Professional dancer Vito Coppola also showed the couple support by simply commenting with three red heart emojis.
Fans of both stars also chimed in to show their love. One fan added: “So happy for you! The most special weekly photo dump ever.”
A second said: “I’m so so happy for you two! I’m so happy for your sweet boy, he is so incredibly lucky to have you two as his parents along with an incredible extended family on both sides. You guys have got this!”
